Shipping and Handling Policy

 Product Availability


I produce a select number of garments in advance for in person shows. These ready-to-ship items will be shipped within 3–5 business days of your order. For made-to-order items in excess of the show products, the production process takes approximately 4 weeks before shipping. 


Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Once your item is ready, it will be shipped using your selected shipping method at checkout. Delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping option. If a package is returned due to insufficient address a refund will be provided for the purchase price of the items less the shipping charges. 


Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated based on the destination, weight, and size of your order and will be displayed at checkout.


Tracking Your Order
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. If a package is marked as delivered and is not received please contact your local post office to locate the package.  A refund will not be offered if the package is not located.


Handling and Packaging
We carefully package each garment to ensure it arrives in good condition. If an item is damaged during transit, contact us within 5 days of receipt with proof of damage, and we will assist you with a replacement or refund.


Delays
While I aim to meet the stated timelines, unforeseen circumstances such as material shortages or shipping carrier delays may occur. If this happens, I will notify you promptly and work to resolve any issues.

Return Policy

 I gladly accept returns for items within 7 days of delivery, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be new, unused, and in their original condition, with all security garment tags still attached.
  • Items must not be worn, washed, soiled, or altered.
  • Returns that are damaged, soiled, or altered may not be accepted and could be sent back to you.
  • Within Canada

Return Process for Domestic (Canada)

  1. Request a Return: Email me at info@wrongthreadsewing.com within 7 days of delivery to initiate your return. Please include your order number and the reason for your return.
  2. Shipping Your Return: Once your return request is approved, I’ll provide you with instructions for shipping the item back. A $15 fee will be deducted from your refund for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  3. Processing Your Refund: Once I receive and inspect the item, I’ll process your refund within 5–7 business days. Please note, I do not issue refunds for lost, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages.

Return Process for International (Outside of Canada)

  • At this time, no returns are accepted from outside of Canada.

Exchange Policy

Exchange Process for Domestic (Canada)

If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size or style, I’m happy to help. Exchanges are accepted for items under the same conditions as returns:

  • Items must be in original condition with tags attached and must not be worn, washed, or altered.
  • Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Exchange Availability
Exchanges are based on the quantity of available stock. If the desired size or style is unavailable, I cannot guarantee an exchange, and your request will be processed as a return.

Exchange Process

  1. Request an Exchange: Email me at info@wrongthreadsewing.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, the item you wish to exchange, and the preferred size or style.
  2. Shipping Your Exchange: I’ll provide you with shipping instructions. If the item you want is available, I’ll process your exchange. If it is unavailable, the item will be treated as a return, and the return process will apply.
  3. Exchange Shipping Costs: You’ll be responsible for the shipping cost to return the original item, and I’ll cover the cost of shipping the exchanged item to you (if available). 

Exchange Process for International (Outside of Canada)

  • At this time, no exchanges are accepted from outside of Canada.

Damaged, Faulty, or Soiled Items Policy

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or soiled, please contact me at info@wrongthreadsewing.com before sending any return. I’ll provide further instructions on how to proceed.

Cancellation Policy

I do not accept cancellations. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any questions or concerns regarding your order.
